Be the change you want to see in the world.
Our 6 month program enables and empowers female Year 11 high school students, our female leaders of tomorrow, by equipping them NOW with the skills, experiences and conversations they need to succeed in a complex, uncertain and ambiguous world. A world where they CAN and WANT to be the difference. Be the game changers. Be the dreamers AND the doers.
Program features.

Learning
We prepare the girls with essential knowledge and skills to effectively lead. These include a deep awareness of self and the tools to reflect and grow; problem solving and decision making; change adaptability; communication and collaboration; social, cultural and emotional intelligence. Through self-paced learning they learn about their personal brand and networking, creative thinking and how to design their own well-being.

Social Impact Project
We empower participants through practical application of their leadership learnings in their Social Impact Project. Each girl chooses a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal that resonates most, and develops a social impact project idea that is both sustainable and scalable.

Pitch & Networking Event
To launch their Social Impact Project, each girl delivers a pitch and answers questions for our pitch panel to gain funds and resources to bring their idea to life. The audience, made up of mentors, investors, professionals and entrepreneurs provide an opportunity for the girls and guests to network and make connections.

Mentoring
The girls’ progress is supported, nurtured and celebrated through mentoring by professional female leaders both from our Investor organisations and beyond. The mentoring journey is a mixture of both in-person and online meetings and online and our proud mentors celebrate with the girls as they showcase their achievements and growth at the Gala.

Industry Experts
Our learning experiences are delivered by industry experts and specialists with the experience and application of the skills and knowledge being learned. In addition to the webinars, workshops, and self-paced tutorials, industry experts pop into our coaching sessions at key times to share words of wisdom, and participate in panel discussions.

Graduation Gala Event
The Change-Makers Gala The Gala is an uplifting night of celebration with inspiring speakers, conversation, a delicious dinner, drinks and dancing. Celebrating women in leadership and the diversity, value and impact that women leaders bring to the businesses organisations they lead and/or create. The girls complete their program at the Gala showcasing the passion, talents and potential of the next generation of female leaders.

Feedback from previous participants and mentors.
Being a part of this program has inspired me in so many ways from meeting other young women and learning to network, to planning my social project. I have found ways to use my strengths in a meaningful way and developed skills I didn’t even know I had. The content in the tutorials and the social enterprise aspect have taught me how to step out of my comfort zone and lead with direction, with accountability and clear communication.
Kamesha, Participant
I love that it is a program for females and is extremely practical, with a focus on real-worlds problems and solutions designed to set these young women up for the future. The content has been fun and engaging, and everyone has such a positive attitude.
Lia Steeger, Mentor – BGIS
For my future, it has given me the opportunity to see what I am capable of doing and becoming outside of just academics. It has given me the skills that will not only help me in this part of my life but continue to help me become a strong leader and team member in all aspects of my life and working future.
