Teachers and Facilitators Frequently Asked Questions & Answers Guide

Welcome to the Purposeful Leaders Program Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and Answers Guide for Teachers and Facilitators.

This guide has been designed to support you in facilitating the program with confidence and clarity. It covers common questions about course access, structure, pacing, and delivery, and can be used as a reference point throughout the program.

We also strongly encourage you to familiarise yourself with the Student FAQs webpage, as this will give you helpful insight into the questions and concerns students may have as they move through the course.

If you’re unsure about anything or can’t find the answer you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our friendly support team at [email protected] – they’ll come back to you as soon as they can.

Access & Course Overview

Do teachers have access to the full course from the start?

Teachers have access to the entire course content upfront, including all modules, lessons, and facilitation resources through the Teachers’ Hub section.

Why don’t students have access to everything at once?

Student lessons unlock in line with your agreed curriculum plan and pacing, ensuring students move through the content together and have time to apply their learning.

What if students forget how to access the course?

We suggest encouraging all students to save the course URL to their favourites on their phone, laptop or tablet – whichever device they will be accessing the program from as you kick off the curriculum.

Here is the URL for quick access: Login here

How do students access the program for the first time?

Students will receive an individual email with a link directing them to the learning portal, where they will need to set a password.  If they are unsure how to set themselves up in the program for the first time, they can also watch this short video that we have created for you: Online Learning Hub – How to login for the first time. This video is also provided on the students’ FAQ page.

What if my students forget their login details?

If your students forget their login details, they will need to use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page and reset their password. Once they do that, they will receive an email to their registered course email, prompting them to set a new one. If they are still having trouble logging in, please ask them to contact our friendly support team at [email protected] .

Be sure to encourage them to check their junk folder, in case the password reset email is there.

We’ve also created this short video to watch the process of resetting your password if your students are stuck: FFL Online Learning Hub – How to reset your password

Program Structure

How is the program structured?

The program includes:

  • Module 0 (Introduction)
  • 8 core modules
  • 4 lessons per module

Each lesson includes:

  • A short module outline/overview (written)
  • A short video
  • An application activity
  • A multiple-choice quiz

How long should each lesson take?

Each lesson is designed to take approximately 45–60 minutes, but timing can be adjusted to suit your group, with optional extra activities also provided should you have more time.

Videos & Devices

How can students watch the videos?

Students can:

  • Watch individually on their own devices with headphones
  • Watch together as a class using a projector or screen

Are subtitles available?

Yes. All videos include subtitles.

Can students rewatch or adjust video speed?

Yes. Videos can be replayed and adjusted to suit different learning styles, and rewatched as many times as you like.

Activities & Facilitation

How important are the activities?

The application activity is the most critical part of each lesson. This is where learning is embedded.

Can activities be adapted?

Yes. Activities are designed as guidance only. You’re encouraged to tailor them to suit your students, context, and timeframes. Generally speaking though, activities have been created for each lesson to take about 45- 60 minutes end-to-end.

Are there additional activities if we have more time?

Yes. Some lessons include optional extension activities.

Classroom Discussion & Reflection

How important are classroom discussions?

Extremely important. Shared reflection and discussion deepen understanding and engagement.

Should students keep a learning journal?

Yes. Each student should have a dedicated notebook or digital journal specifically for the Purposeful Leaders Program.

Multiple Choice Quizzes (MCQs)

Do students need to complete quizzes individually?

Yes. Progress is tracked individually, so each student must submit answers on their own device.

Can we review the quiz questions together as a class?

Yes. You can discuss questions verbally, then have students submit their answers individually. In each lesson, your teacher facilitation guide provides you with the multiple choice quiz questions and the correct answers.

What if a student doesn’t get 100%?

They can retake the quiz as many times as needed, but must redo the full quiz if any answers are incorrect. This shouldn’t take too long as each quiz only has between 3-5 questions.

Program Timeframes

What is the recommended program length?

The program is designed for 18–20 weeks as a standard curriculum, though this can be adapted depending on individual school requirements. If you are unsure of the approach your school has taken, please ask your program representative, or reach out to one of our team at [email protected]

Help and Support

Where should teachers go if they have questions?

Start with this Questions & Answers Guide that has been linked in each lesson within the Teachers Hub. If further support is needed, and your school representative for the program is unable to help, then please feel free to reach out to one of our team at  Future Female Leaders at [email protected]
