Meet the Future Changemakers: Introducing the 2026 Social Impact Projects

Fourteen weeks ago, 20 incredible young women joined the 2026 Future Female Leaders Program with curiosity, courage and a willingness to grow.

Since then, they have taken part in leadership workshops, connected with mentors, explored their values and purpose, and started shaping the kind of change they want to create.

One of the most powerful parts of the FFL journey is now coming to life: their Social Impact Projects.

Each participant has explored an issue that matters to them and connected it to one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. From there, they have developed a project idea that is personal, purposeful and focused on creating real-world impact.

At our annual Pitch Night, the 2026 participants shared their ideas with a room full of mentors, supporters and cheerleaders. For many, it was a big step outside their comfort zone – speaking about themselves, their leadership journey and their project in front of an audience.

They showed up with confidence, honesty and heart.

Through their pitch videos, participants shared the problems they want to help solve, the communities they hope to support and the impact they want to create. They also received supportive questions and reflections from our mock angel investors, Jessie Jolly and Erin Clark, who helped create an encouraging space for deeper thinking and growth.

Pitch Night is about more than presenting an idea. It is about community, connection and reminding each participant that people believe in them and the change they want to create.

Over the coming months, our 2026 Future Female Leaders will continue developing their Social Impact Projects- testing ideas, building confidence, making connections and learning what it really takes to bring a vision to life.

Along the way, they’ll experience the very real rollercoaster of leadership. It won’t always be smooth sailing, or all rainbows and butterflies, but that’s where so much of the growth happens. This brave journey will help shape not only the leaders they are today, but the incredible leaders they are becoming. We are so proud of this cohort and cannot wait to see where their ideas go next.
