Skyline Views, Real Conversations & The Quiet Power of Mentoring

Last night we held our Future Female Leaders Signature Program 2026 Mentor Meet & Greet, hosted by one of our long-standing Visionary investors – IGO.

Yes, the views over Perth were stunning, and the décor honestly looked like it had been lifted straight from an interior design showroom! But the real magic was in the room: leaders from across WA – engineers, CEOs, HR professionals, finance experts, equity champions and more, all coming together with one shared purpose: to invest their time in the next generation of female leaders.

Mentoring isn’t just a meeting in the calendar. It’s showing up. Listening. Storytelling. Encouraging. Challenging. Believing in someone before they fully believe in themselves.

And sometimes it feels small or subtle. You might walk away wondering, “Did that really make a difference?”

You did.

The impact shows up quietly – in a young woman speaking with more confidence, putting her hand up for a leadership role, or realising she belongs in spaces where decisions are made.

At Future Female Leaders, our goal is bold: to ignite the leadership potential of 10,000 young women in WA by 2030. That kind of change doesn’t happen through inspiration alone. It happens through action, relationships, and mentors who lean in.

In five years, we’ve seen 79 graduates, 92 mentors, 45 industry investors, and 79 social impact projects aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The ripple is already moving.

With International Women’s Day around the corner, the call for action and equity feels especially important. The stats remind us that there’s still work to do, but nights like this remind us that progress is already happening.
