2025 Future Female Leaders Gala: A Night for the Bold & Brilliant

On the 19th of September, the Grand Ballroom at The Westin Perth was brimming with sparkle, courage, and celebration as over 350 guests came together for the Future Female Leaders Gala 2025: A Night for the Bold & Brilliant. (Scroll to the bottom to watch the highlight video!)

A huge milestone as this year’s Gala marked 5 years of Future Female Leaders, and the graduation of our 20 inspiring future leaders from our Signature Program. These young women have spent the past six months building the leadership skills, confidence, and resilience to step boldly into their future – and they absolutely blew us away with their words on the night.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2025 COHORT!! ✨✨✨✨

Hearing directly from our participants was the highlight of the evening. Their words captured not only their journeys of transformation, but also their gratitude for the support they have been surrounded with. From mentors and new connections to beautiful friendships formed, it was incredible to see how much the Program has meant to every participant this year.

“I’m finishing this program with more than a certificate – I’m stepping forward with confidence, clarity, and a mindset built for growth. With openness to learn, readiness to collaborate, and with the confidence to ask for what I need to succeed.” – Emma, 2025 Graduate

A huge thank you to Alumni Participant Winnie-Sue for opening the evening with such a meaningful Acknowledgement of Country. We were thrilled to have Ms Sook Yee Lai MLA welcome the room, and then it was over to our fabulous MC, Kelly Haywood, who guided us throughout the evening.

We heard a thought-provoking Keynote from Jessica Bailey, who reminded us of the power of courage and storytelling through sharing her own leadership journey and encouraging the next generation to step into their brilliance.

“The future needs your voice, your ideas, and your leadership – never doubt that you belong in every room you step into.” – Jessica Bailey

Emma was thrilled to speak on behalf of the FFL Leadership Team and get the room excited about what’s to come, as we are on our mission to impact over 10,000 young female leaders in WA by 2030!

Talk about a jam packed evening!!

The Power of Community Support and Connection
The Gala was also a chance to recognise the extraordinary mentors, sponsors, and investors who make the Signature Program possible. Your guidance and belief in our students continue to create ripple effects far beyond the program.

In case you missed it, here’s a digital copy of the Gala Event Program that features all involved with the 2025 Program – and the social impact projects the participants brought to life this year.

Special Thanks to Our Event Partners
We could not have pulled off such a spectacular event without the generous support of our event partners: ATELIER – House of Events, and ENTOUR – thank you!!! The photobooth sponsored by The Lip Lab Perth was a huge hit, and we need to also shout out to our Alumni Volunteers, and all of our corporate table sponsors who helped make the night happen.

Looking Ahead
This year’s Gala was more than a celebration – it was a promise. A promise to keep building pathways, connections, and opportunities for young women in WA to step into leadership roles with confidence and courage.

To our 2025 graduates: we are beyond proud of you and all you have achieved already. You were the shining stars of the Gala, and the future is brighter because of your brilliance.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to those who continue to champion gender equity alongside us. Together, we are shaping a future where leadership knows no limits.

We look forward to keeping in touch!
